strange bug with backlit keyboard in new air

so the new air has this bug where the backlit keyboard comes on by itself even if you turn it off in system prefs, I unchecked the auto light up keyboard option, and even turned it all the way down on the keyboard itself, but it still comes on by itself randomly, the backlit keyboard seems to not respond 100% to the settings and seems to have a mind of its own, anyone else notice this? might just be a lion bug

It seems I'm having the opposite problem with the backlit keyboard. Even with the auto illumination turned on, it will not turn on in dark if it is off to start with, and won't turn off if it's lit to start with. Hmm?

Mine does this too. I have my light on the lowest setting (which is the only setting I think it should be used on) and it sometimes gets brighter but I already turned off the automatic sensor?
