i have a late 2007 imac 24" that started having a display issue about 2 hours ago. The first thing i did was made a genius bar appointment. i have apple care.:) I have been using my mac like normal. No changes in my usage habits. I believe it is a defective monitor. But just wondering if anyone has any recommendations.
Please see pictures for the issue that i am talking about. Sorry quality of pics is so bad :-( Took the pics with my iPhone

Thanks monday at 9:15 am it is. :) any idead of how long apple store repairs usually take? or is it just to hard to tell.

Depends on what is broken. I think it's either backlight or display which is defective. If they have replacements in stock, you'll probably get it in few hours if they are not busy. Hard to say, depends on so many things
