Strange Generic Icons and a lot of space in between

there is a lot of space in between and icons that look generic with a 5-1 and a hide me.. I tried it but it did not hide the icons. Advise? I JB it and installed cydia some themes and ported over all my applications purchased but there is a lot of space in between when I swipe next... and icons with a 2-0, 1-0, 7-0, etc.. many of them. How do I clear all the space in between. I do not wish to restore again as I am getting tired of doing this...

Hold an icon til they wiggle then drag them to whatever screen you want them on.
