Hey,

since I updated to ios 12, my front facing camera on iPhone X shows some odd behavior:

If I turn it on in the camera app, it's a lot more grainy than what the actual picture looks like. Yesterday in dark light it was even more strange, I could cleary see a lot in the dimm light, but when I took a picture, it ended up being WAY darker and with more contrast, but also without the noise.
I know the IPX was doing noise reduction after taking a pic in ios 11 too, but the pics I took in general looked like what I was seeing on the camera app.

Now there was a difference of night and day. Today it's relatively back to normal again, except it still looks more grainy.

It's even more intense in the iMessage camera. Front facing camera is SO grainy, it looks like it's broken.
the back camera looks normal. It super strange. Anybody else seeing this?

I did notice it when launching the camera app in iMessages....flipping to selfie...it was grainy....though, odd, I just checked it now and it seems normal?

I was thinking, maybe it has to do with some GPU acceleration for the selfie stickers or so, but it’s so bad quality wise, and then yesterday when it also happened in the regular camera app I was shocked..
