A few strange things with iOS 9. This morning my phone was still connected to the charger from an overnight charge with the battery at 100%. Suddenly, around 8 AM my phone connected with the Sirius App and started playing music. I was in anther room when it happen and my phone had NOT been touched by anyone this morning.

I’ve also had some lockups that I’ve never seen with another previous iOS.

And the last thing is maybe 2 or 3 times a day, I get a popup screen that says…

“xxxxx” has been using your location in the background. Do you want to continue allowing this?

Your location is used to search venues around you.

Settings or Continue

The above “xxxxx” is whatever app cause this popup. If I go to “Setting” in the above popup, maybe over 50% of my apps have “always” selected and I don’t remember setting them to “always”. Wondering if this is a bug in iOS9? The app in question here is any app I happen to open when these popups then occur.

Maybe thats a bug that has something to do with how it automatically starts playing music when headphones are plugged in. It happened to me this morning. Kind of a weird feature.

My headphones were not plugged in when this happened. I didn't mention that it also has happened while the phone was in my pocket as I assumed that was similar to a "butt call".

I had the weirdest thing, I had been listening to music at the gym. When I paused my music to make a phone call about 5 seconds into the phone call (on speaker) the music starts playing with the call still going. I try to pause the music but it won't. So I take the phone off speaker mode, put the phone up to my ear and the call + music is still playing out of the earpiece. MUSIC ISNT SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO PLAY OUT OF THE EARPIECE! Also a few days ago I was at the gym and I tapped "play" on a song and the volume maxed out automatically, when I tried to lower the volume it would max itself back out. I swear iOS 9 let a ghost into my phone, like that poltergeist movie with the TV.

Could be. I had the headphone jack in my truck plugged in before it happened.

This is normal, and it's not new. It was introduced in iOS 8.0.
