Strange iPhone bug

The iPhone wont type my last name! Even at the apple store no one could make it work.

Sorry rdowns, I wasn't as clear as I should have been. You can eventually type it, but not on the first pass.

It won't type the last letter "a". Instead it will always type an "s" and it comes out "Aryans"

You can then delete the "s" and type the "a" but that is pretty lame.

When I type my email address wj@w... it always changes it to as@w....

Wow that is annoying!

So I noticed while typing your name what seems to be happening is that it thinks your going to type Aryans (as you said) so it actually makes the S key massive and take over the A key.

To test type Aryan and then press and hold your finger on the S key, then without lifting your finger, move it around the keyboard...most keys will popup but not the A key.

Looks like no way around this. One suggestion is to add an address book entry to your phone book that has Aryana and hope it picks that up???
