This is a strange issue that I am having maybe someone can explain on how to correct it.

I let my iMac sleep when not in use. I have a logitech harmony 550 remote control for my TV. If I press a button on the logitech remote it wakes up the iMac. I went to the bluetooth devises connected and it only shows the mouse and keyboard. How can I correct this issue. The remote control is infrared not RF. My iMac is a 27" Quad Core i7, magic mouse & wireless keyboard.

Like you said yourself, the remote isn't BT but IR, so naturally you won't see it in the BT menu. If you don't need it, you can simply disable the IR in your mac.

Go to System Prefs -> Security -> Then check the remote box (not on my Mac atm, so can't check what you have to select but make it so that it doesn't react on all remotes)
