Hey, these weird loading like static icons have appeared either side of my phone button in the dock...1 occasionally appears next to the sms icon but goes after a few seconds. No shut down or reboot gets rid of them. Any advice....has this happened to anyone before?

Have you checked the theme you installed for any information on them? Maybe they are part of the theme.

That is the Backgrounder's "active app" badge. It indicates that the app is active in the background. If you don't want to see it, go into Backgrounder's settings to turn it off. (make sure you update to the latest version of Backgrounder)

i didnt like the badges at first but now i leave them on.. i wish there was just an option to turn off mail and phone... this badge is great for insomnia!

Thanks!

backgrounder icons shows u what's r7nning in the background

Thanks, I did just update backgrounder via cydia, it must be a new feature as Ive never seen it before, either that or it activated the feature via the update.

Anyway, thanks for the help

It was a new feature included in the update.

Just updated backgrounder after reading this thread. The badges are very useful -- thanks for the tip.
