I have a 2017 model 13" MBP that has served me like a dream for over two years now. This week, it's developed a strange sound from the hinge when I move the notebook at specific angles. Please see the video to hear the exact sound.

The only noteworthy recent event has been that a thick Thule bag containing the MBP dropped gently some 1 ft from a low table to the ground. I'd be very surprised if that gentle drop WITHIN a military-grade case caused any damage. In any case, I can't hear any rattling parts when I move the notebook otherwise; only when I'm closing/opening the hinge.

The MBP is working fine otherwise.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Visited the Apple service center today and they couldn't tell me anything prima facie.
