Strange Safari glitches on Catalina

Has anyone else encountered weird graphical glitches like in this screenshot? This happens to me every now and then on all kinds of websites. I have to close tabs and go back to the same URL for it to go away, refreshing etc. does not do anything.

nope. maybe it's due to an extension you have enabled...

Could it have something to do with your display settings? I encountered an odd stuttering until I adjusted the setting to default in System Preferences. Just a thought.

I have everything default and also don't use any plugins. I have seen this on a different iMac as well but only on Catalina.

I see this almost every day. Almost always on macrumors.com — but sometimes on other sites. I have to reload the page multiple times before it will display properly.
