Hello MacRumors!

As some of you might be aware of (but your probably not) i have replaced my iMac with a Mac Mini 2,6 GHz i7, 10GB RAM, 1TB 5400 RPM drive and a LED Cinema Display.

Sadly i have noticed that it is "lagging" while displaying certain UI elements.
Scrolling in Safari is jumpy and the dock is glitching out. Im not sure where to go from here.

Is it the HD4000 that can't support the Cinema Displays resolution or is it maybe the wireless mouse messing about?

Any help is appreciated.:apple:

I have 2 x 20" Cinema Displays on the 2012 Mini and they run just fine.

I've got 16Gb of RAM, though. Supposedly, the available RAM to the GPU increases with total RAM size. Though I don't know if less RAM for the GPU will necessarily cause the problems you have.

As ever, create a brand new user account and test the problem there. If it's fine there, then you know it's not the hardware or the OS, but something in your old user account, like a wrong or corrupt pref, corrupt cache, or something else.

I try to avoid wireless peripherals on my desktop. There is talk of some interference between Bluetooth and some USB3 cables, but I don't know how common/severe it is.
