I upgraded my 6S yesterday (got caught in the bricked/unbricked upgrade mess) and have noticed one odd thing. It's happened a handful of times but when I unlock my phone it will pause then display the "your phone died spinning wheel screen" and then reverts to the passcode screen.

I thought my phone had died and it wasn't showing the correct battery left but ithad plenty of juice. I was able to unlock it normally but there seems to be some bug that is causing a loop? This never happened in iOS 9. Anyone seeing this?

This has become a serious issue for me. Did you ever manage to fix this on your device?

No, haven't found a fix yet. It hadn't happened in a while but did occur just yesterday. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, just happens at all hours when it occurs.

Since I replied, it's happened three other times. So odd.
