Stream music from iphone or ipad?

I bought the new Apple Tv and am pretty happy. One disappointment however. I could have sworn that I read or heard that it was possible to stream music from my iphone or ipad to the ATV. Is this something that will happen in the future (announced but not yet implemented) or am I going to have to get a computer at home to listen to my tunes? Thanks for any info on this

Yes when it was announced it was also announced it would be implemented in November with iOS 4.2

iOS 4.2 will bring this feature to all iOS Devices, just a few more weeks to release
