With the recent discussion about the windows app MyTunes that allows the decoding of the AAC audio data, the subject of traditional stream rippers has been brought up.
Does anyone know if programs like iNet or RadioLover give you the actual mp3 data entering your machine, or do they have to re-encode the incoming audio, mp3->AIFF->mp3? In other words, are stream rippers lossy?
Thanks.
