iPad Pro Streaming Apps That Support HDR?

I don’t know if this would be helpful for others, but I thought it might… Does anyone know a list of the popular streaming services that currently support HDR? I was gutted to find out Vudu doesn’t let me play anything on my iPP higher than “HDX” quality after I spent like $60 on a Fast & Furious Collection. Sure, I can still watch them in 4K on my TV and “HDX” on my iPP, but I was intent on checking them out in HDR on that Liquid Retina XDR display.

Anyways, enough rambling. You guys know which services support HDR? Please do tell for us not in the know.

HBO Max supports it.
 
Another question. Does the video file in question have to be 4K/UHD to have HDR or can it also be HD or in Vudu’s case, “HDX”, and still have HDR? I’m clueless on this type of stuff, so I was curious.

EDIT: I signed up for Netflix, so I’ll have a lot of HDR content now. Still pretty pissed at Vudu. I could have saved $60 by not buying that UHD collection if I knew I couldn’t get HDR on my iPad Pro with it. Limitations like that is really freaking stupid if you ask me.

Sign up for Movies Anywhere and link it your VUDU and iTunes account. I think Fast & Furious will probably transfer over. Then you can get HDR on iTunes. You can also link to Amazon, Google Play, etc. I think you get best quality with iTunes though.

For iTunes, I believe they have 1080p HDR.

If you ever start ripping Blu-rays, the regular 1080p BD standard doesn't support HDR. The HDR spec was only added later with 4K UHD Blu-rays.
