Streaming from USB or Firewire Hard drive?

Is there any difference between streaming my movies from a USB Hard drive vs a Firewire Hard drive? Is USB fast enough?

I run all my movies ( all 650) of them from USB 2.0 external drives. I never seem to have any issues. I wirelessly stream them right over. Works very well.

USB 2.0 is fast enough, so are 5400 RPM drives, when we are talking about streaming media. Your network will be the bottle neck there and even a strong G connection should be enough for 720p HD content.
