Streaming iPhone 3GS audio to car stereo ... How?

I have an iPhone 3GS and a Fiat 500 with a Bluetooth system.

I paired them both (the Fiat bluetooth system showed up as a headset) and I already imported all my iPhone contacts into my car, so the pairing definitely worked.

But how can I stream songs from my iPhone to the car stereo?
Can't seem to find that ...

I use an aux jack.

the head unit in the car will need to be a2dp capable. Many head units are not. Just because you can use a phone does not mean it is capable of streaming music
