I'm an avid listener of the World Soccer Daily podcast, and the Edge network is fast enough for me to go to podcast.com and listen to it streaming. It's awesome. BUT, for some reason, when I plugged in my earphones earlier while the podcast was playing, the Ipod suddenly started playing, which took me from the webpage, thus putting the kibosh on my podcast. I had to start downloading it all over again, which sucked because I was already well into it.

So, two questions: 1) How can I stop the ipod from playing every time I plug in the earphones? 2) Is there any way to for me to stream the podcast, and if for some reason I get taken away from that page, so that the podcast won't have to start over? I hope that makes sense.

Thanks.

that happens.

What I do for podcasts (downloadable) is download them (right click save as file in your browser) then move them over in itunes to a playlist called "iPhone podcasts".

It takes a little more work but you can also pause and play it later and do other apps etc..
