Each of the major streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, HBO Max, Paramount) seems to have the same issues on both the web browser and mobile apps:

1. No proper support for ultrawide monitors. Many titles display black borders on all 4 sides of the screen. Why can't these services provide some sort of intelligent scaling to maximize the viewing area of the whatever screen the video is playing on while maintaining the correct aspect ratio?

2. Single line horizontal scrolling interface for groups. This is especially annoying on a desktop/laptop computer using a mouse. There is no fast horizontal scrolling, no horizontal scrollbar that you can quickly drag. Most of these sites don't let you expand a group to see all titles at once. So the only way to browse through the titles is to keep clicking the mouse. There are times when I have to click 20 times to see all the titles in a group. It is exhausting and ridiculous. How much clicking is considered too much? Did the people who create these single line horizontal scrolling interfaces bother to test with more than a single click?

What will it take for these companies to fix their idiotic user interfaces?

First world problem...

Use the search bar because you'll never see all the content that is available otherwise.

Monitor support is delegated to the vendor of the monitor. Just because they make the worlds widest monitor doesn't mean the rest of the world cares to support it. That's on them.

Do you work for any of these streaming companies or hold shares of their stocks?

Did you post your complaints on the vendor website of your display? The developer sites of the apps you use? All I see is someone ranting about a display that is poorly supported and apps that weren't actually written for desktop use in the first place.

That apparently makes me a shareholder...
