Right now I have all of my movies on a 500GB USB 2.0 HD. I'm thinking about picking up a Firewire 800 HD hoping that it'll stream a bit quicker and even the playback on my computer will be smoother.
Has anyone else had issues with it being a bit choppy at first with a USB 2.0 HD. Has your FireWire fixed this up?
Don't get me wrong, once the movie gets going it's fine. But trying to skip back and for between chapters and what not often take a little longer than a normal movie on my MBP's HD.
