Download the updates as whatever format you want, save the daily updates to the correct area in your sandbox, update your in-memory data layer and away you go. Seems simple to me.

You need to go back to the start and read all the intro guides. Seriously, if you don't know about your sandboxed area on the filesystem or about MVC design then you need to go and learn, not write.

This is a hobby for me, not a job, i am not going to read books and books for months and learn a computer language, i have an App in the top 25 without knowing any of that so im good thanks.....

Anyone else can tell me how i do this? i think i no where the sandbox thing is, how do i update an 'in memory data layer'?

If you refuse to learn, then why should we, or anyone else help you?

Also, your 'top 25' app is a freaking soundboard. It is no longer in the top 100 entertainment apps. And you are illegally profiting from copywrited material. All, in all, GREAT job.

A hint of jealousy there i think??

your app isn't exactly cutting edge technology. it plays sounds. not many legitimate developers are going to be jealous of your accomplishment.

so like it or not... I made an App, you don't need to code to make an App

if you don't need to code to make an app then why are you asking how create an app that requires code? your logic is flawed.

I am just asking for some help here, you don't have to give it to me, its simply a question.... :)

in order for anyone to help you, as Robbieduncan has, you need to understand what he is telling you. if you do not understand then he can't help you. is it really that difficult for you to understand this concept?

Looks like somebody needs to pick up a book or give up. I did a lot of research and worked really hard to learn -C. Its not something you can just pick up by people telling you what to do. If you want it you have to work for it. Come back when you have actually tried to solve the problem on your own.
