Is this possible?

We just got a DP Xserve G5 at work, for use as a Streaming Server. Is there a way to send a live video stream from a Windows box to the server? Basically I need something like Quicktime Broadcaster, but for Windows (which Apple doesn't make). Does anyone make software that will do this?

Quicktime Streaming Server runs on Linux/Solaris/OSX/Windows, so that s all you would probably need. Its also Open source IIRC, so you can do whatever you want with it.

I'm not talking about the Streaming Server itself, I'm talking about the Broadcaster program that sends a stream to a streaming server. I've already got the server running--I need a Windows-based program that will send a stream to it.

I'm guessing if there is an MP4 video encoder/streamer like Broadcaster, you could send the stream to Streaming Server... sorry to point you in the wrong direction...
