Streaming to iPhone from server.

Was not sure weithet to put this under iPhone....

Has anyone manages to stream their movies from their server yet? I am trying to serve up my movies from my osx sl server but unable to find software to do it? Or app?

QuickTime Streaming Server? Can this be done?

I am no expert in quick time server so am unsure.

I am presuming id need to convert my movies in .mov and have some sort of ip based address dial up from an iphone or touches browser, to launch the movie...

Wondering if anyone else has managed this or have found a good workaround.

(I have my movies on an external drive being delivered via SLS)

Works very well - you can stream (and encode on the fly) even hi res .mkv files.
