Is there a way to watch streaming video (other than YouTube) on my iPhone 3G? Every video i come across on Safari just displays a blue cube.

Is there any way around this? will an App solve this?

Thanks a lot.

the only way you could watch streaming videos on safari would be if the iphone had flash. There have been talks that adobe and apple were working to make flash for the iphone, but it may never happen. But, I heard there was an app in cydia that allowed flash, but it is supposed to be very glitchy.

no problem, I have wanted flash on a phone for a while to watch videos like you mentioned, if apple does decide to put flash onto the phone, It would make the phone much better.

It really wouldn't.

It would make the iPhone slower. It would make the iPhone drain its battery faster. It would make Safari less responsive. And it would make the iPhone capable of playing loud, annoying Flash ads whenever you visited various sites.

Oh, and it would encourage the use of Flash for video -- which is one of the worst ways to provide video online.
