iPod Stuck at DFU mode

I am stuck in DFU mode after trying to downgrade to FW 3.1.3, because the beta is too buggy.

Now I am stuck at dfu mode with a freaking bricked iPod.

Try reinstalling the 4.0 firmware and it maybe unbricked. Better buggy than bricked.

Ouch. I had the exact same thing happen with my iPod Touch. Same error code. I never solved the problem, so I'm sorry I can't help. I tried for WEEKS to solve it and I never found a solution. If you do, please let me know - and good luck!

iRecovery will supposedly let you downgrade.

I had the same thing. I just did a restore back to 4.0 and everything worked again.

There may be other solutions, but strictly using itunes or Xcode you probably will never be able to go back down from 4 to 3x as the baseband is upgraded in the original upgrade.
