Hi there,

I did some searching on the forum, but the only thing I found was about dead pixels on macs,... and dust particles.
When searching google for stuck cyan pixels,... I get a lot of hits, and no one got the solution. There is mention of some JB program that can sometimes fix it... and someone had success actually psychically massaging the screen for a short time.

I have no intention of JB'ing, and absolutely no intention of pressing hard down on the screen. Does anyone know of a fix? I got the 3Gs just today, and it would be such a shame to send it back already.

Mind you we have no apple stores in Denmark, so we have to send the iPhone back to the specific shop/webshop we purchased it in...

So... any help, or is it all about getting a new one?

Thanks!

I've heard that turning off the computer and then "massaging" the spot with the stuck pixel brings it back to life.

Its on my 3Gs, not the mac - its not dead, its coloured cyan - so I guess its just stuck.

I don't like the idea about applying pressure to the screen.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8900: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

Massaging won't work on your iPhone

Try getting one of the flashlite programs. there are a few free ones. rotating thru the different colors might get it to switch up

Just go to youtube and watch a stuck pixel video that flashes different colors.

In a semi-unrelated note I had a stuck pixel on my desktop LCD and using that youtube video and massaging the screen actually (to my surprise) got it unstuck.

So yeah let it run 3-5 times before giving up.
