Now... I've posted this on question on Facebook iPhone Support followed by a bunch of shrugs and "it happens..." sort of responses from other users. Simply, every time I enter the iPhone Facebook App, then exit, I get a nice pretty red 1 badge notification. Everything is read, on Mobile and via the web. I've checked everything, this isn't rocket science...I'm not "missing" something here in terms of not having read something to get rid of the notification. To get rid of it, I have to exit the Facebook app while on the notifications screen.

Search results showed other people with the same issues with it ultimately disappearing after awhile.

Has anyone else had this issue? Have you figured out a quick fix if so? I've deleted/reinstalled and for fun, did a restore on my iPhone 4. I'm running everything at the latest version and all legit software.

Any tips/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have been getting the same thing for a few weeks now. Truly annoying. I'm not sure how to fix it though.

I didnt noticed that issue. Maybe try look at facebook privacy settings - I dont know exacly where but maybe you will get idea - look at privacy and websites, but its only gues ;(

Do you have Facebook backgrounded? I noticed that happening with another app the other day. When I unbackgrounded it, the notification bubble went away.
