Sorry Eli.

Yes, there are some nasty bugs in the App Store's update process. The best way to avoid the issue is to follow the instructions in the App Store description (which you probably didn't see because we added this after you first downloaded the app):

UPDATE NOTE
If you already have a lot of data in Air Sharing, we recommend expediting the
update process (and avoiding some potential full-disk problems that could
require restoring your device), by following these steps:
1. Download the contents of the Air Sharing folder to your computer.
2. Delete these files in the Air Sharing app.
3. Install the update.
4. Connect to Air Sharing and upload your files again.

Also, if you have a whole lot of data, and you didn't follow these steps, please give it a few hours, or over night, to complete. The App Store's updater wants to make a complete backup of your data, on the iPhone, and wants to zip the backup, which is thoughtful but incredibly slow.

If it is too late and you are in a bad state, it could be that you will have to restore your iPhone, but we're not to that point yet. For now, please just give it more time to complete.

Dave
