I have a 2 month old 21.5 iMac. I shut it down last night and when I tried to start it up this morning it was stuck on the initial white start up screen with nothing but blank white on the screen. I reset the SMC and reset the P-Ram, ive tried booting it off of the disc but nothing seems to be working. I dont have anything else plugged into it besides the power cord and the wireless keyboard and magic mouse. I dont know why it wont work but I am in desperate need of help.

Even when I hold down option as its starting up nothing happens. I cant even get to the point where I can choose the disc. Could it be that the wireless keyboard isnt transmitting the information?

Yeah, Bluetooth KBs aren't the best in case of issue. You're under warranty so let Apple deal with it

I decided to let apple take care of it. They said it was a failed hard drive. Thanks for the help guys
