Hey,

I have an iMac Core Duo 20" I got in August of '06.

On the lower left-hand side of the screen, there is a pixel that has been stuck displaying a grey pixel for about a month now.

What should I do to attempt to fix this?
Thanks.

Whoops, sorry for not replying! The video didn't work, so I tried to do the pixel massage.

But, as soon as I applied a little bit of pressure the screen made a little popping noise (not very loud or high pitched, sounded more like something wasn't screwed down tightly).

I also noticed the monitor looks kind of wavy when I look at it from the side, I never noticed this when looking directly at the screen.

Would pictures be helpful?

i was able to get a stuck pixel to go away on a sony xbr lcd tv by using a program called dead pixel buddy (windows) which is probably pretty much the same program as posted above.
