Stuck Ziphone 1.0.2

Hello eveyone.

I gave a quick look on the forum, and couldnt find a solution for my specific situation, so here it goes:

I have a 1.0.2 iPhone. Never updated it (I know..).Yesterday I at long last decided to update it, but did it wrong and had to restore it.

Theeen of course it got blocked, since I had already bought it unlocked. I tried unlocking it with Ziphone, and after it got stuck for 4 hours in the "Recovery Mode" screen I gave up. I tried with that other method that doesnt involve iTunes, and still it didnt work. I am restoring it again to factory 1.0.2 settings.

I know it is terrible when someone just shows up and throws the problem for people to solve, but I have been snooping around for answers in other places and even here, and none of them apply to what I need.

I really really need help, since I obviously wont be able to do it on my on..

I guess what I am asking is:

1 - I am going to restore it yet again. How can I unlock it?
2 - What is the modus operandi so I can upgrade it to 2.0.2?

Use pwnage 2.x and then restore the phone to your activated and unlocked firmware. Delete ziphone from your computer and never even think of using it again. That app is bad news and can kill your phone even if you use it perfectly.

You can upgrade from any version to 2.0.2 without problems. Just install the latest and be done with it. If you dont want to make a custom firmware, you can also use QuickPwn after you restore to the stock 2.0.2.

I am in the exact situation you were. I bought iPhone first Gen unlocked , it was on 1.0.2 and I never upgraded it.

Now I am planning to upgrade to 2.0 and I am very scared.
luckily, I just learned from you: never to use Ziphone.

But I don't know what to do. Please enlighten me.
