I’ve ordered a Studio Display (Standard Glas, VESA Mount) on day 1 (on March 8).
It was supposed to arrive between April 8 - April 15.
So far, it has not arrived. On April 15, Apple even sent me an email that my delivery date was pushed back to July 6 ?
That’s almost 3 months after the original delivery window – and a 1/3 year after my order.
Something like this has never happened to me before with Apple. And this is not acceptable as a customer.

Part of the 1749€ premium I’m paying for the display I also see as a guarantee for good service.
But this has been very frustrating so far. Apple hasn’t offered any kind of help (e.g. free express air mail shipping, or sending me the returned of someone else while I wait for mine, or even just a price reduction).

Is anyone sitting in the same boat?

That's frustrating for sure, but there isn't much Apple can really do about it. They can't ship product that they don't have. It has nothing to do with giving good service and more of getting product in from overseas during a pandemic.

Mine has no movement with a May 25-Jun 9 date and I wonder if it's going to get delayed that far, I decided to order one from BH, which is backordered to 1-2 weeks. Not so sure about that, but it's worth a shot since they don't charge the card until it gets shipped and it can be cancelled until then. If they ship, I will cancel the Apple order, which probably end up getting delayed by three month into August. ?

I guess that is the harsh reality with China sticking to its Zero Covid policy. That's why I am not doing any more tech purchases after this until everything settles down, although I upgraded most if not almost all my tech.

July 15 gang over here, patiently waiting!

Really hoping it gets bumped up (or down, depending on your perspective I guess). I ordered a dell display a couple months ago and they gave me a delivery date 6 months in the future, but they ended up shipping it two weeks later.
