I'm looking for the best way to secure a Mac Studio Display to deter, if not prevent, home theft. I called Kensington customer support, which is based outside the US, and they claimed they do not support that product. I explained that the stand had a hole in it through which a cable could be run. So I was simply seeking the most secure product/solution they might offer, but to no avail. I'm happy with Kensington's Mac Studio cable lock and am seeking something adequate for the Studio Display. I'm aware that a cable cutter can easily slice through these cables. Just looking for a good deterrent. What are folks doing out there? Cheers.

Just my two cents but if you think there is a possibility of theft, consider drilling holes in the base and bolting it to your desk. If someone breaks into your house, they can grab your kitchen scissors to slice this cable in half with one cut. It’s not going to do anything to deter a burglar from stealing your Studio Display. It’s more meant for office situations where someone can’t just quickly grab it and run and it doesn’t do such a great job with that either.

The Kensington cable is made of carbon steel. You wouldn’t be able to cut that with kitchen scissors.

What you can do is wrap the cable around your desk leg (or whatever you have) run it through the Display leg and connect to your Mac Studio.
