Ever since I changed my HD icon my icon moves to the bottom of the desktop everytime I turn my macbook on. Whats the deal?

stupid problem, but annoying nonetheless

It should default back to the top. Do you have a different file in its place at the top? If you remove the new icon from your hard drive (select it in the Get Info page and press DELETE), does it then return to where it should be after restarting? Do you have any theme changers installed? Did you use an app to change this icon or did you do it manually (copy & paste)? Sorry for all the questions mate.
