I'm a 2 day old Mac user and for the life of me I can't find were the sent items are in mail. I've clicked every menu and icon and can't seem to find them.

Thanks.

In Mail.app in Mac OS X?

First you have to show all "Mailboxes" (icon on top in the middle)
Then select "sent"

Can't figure out how you got the "sent" icon in your last email. I can choose mailbox-show-sent, but I'd like to just put an "in" and "sent" icon on the toolbar.

I am using OS 10.2.6

Thanks.

From the top menu select, "View > Show Draw", or hit shift+apple key+m :)

Thanks. Couldn't figure it out at first. I had to reduce the size of the window in order to see the drawer.

Most mac apps are not designed to run in full screen mode. A lot of applications don't go to fullscreen when you click the green + button, instead the go to a larger size to show all contents, fullscreen is not necessary most of the time.
Apple Mail actually has this wrong.. It should not go fullscreen according to Apple's own interface guidelines.

I guess I need a bigger monitor. I'm using a 15inch iMac and screen space is limited. I plan on upgrading to a G5 which I can then hook up to my 19 inch flat panel. Speaking of that....can't I get some sort of adapter to hook up my monitor to this iMac? It's a G3 600 Graphite.

Thanks.

I have no idea, I guess it's best to open a new thread in Hardware Discussion about that.
I think that even 1024x768 is not enough to enjoy os x, good luck. ;)

There is an external VGA port on your iMac, but it only supports video-mirroring. So more than 1024 x 768 res. is not possible. And as cc bcc pointed out 1280 x 960/1024 is more like the minimal resolution you'll like to run OS X.
You have a 19" flat panel, so I assume the "default" resolution of it will be higher than the iMac's 1024 x 768....
Go for the G5!
