Of the three iPad models currently available on Apple’s website, the iPad Pro does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPad Air and the iPad 10.2 still have the headphone jack. This information was discovered from the Tech Specs pages of the applicable devices (linked for each device above). If not is there anyway to use wired headphones with it ?

Only nine dollars?Of the three iPad models currently available on Apple’s website, the iPad Pro does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPad Air and the iPad 10.2 still have the headphone jack. For the iPad Pro, you will need the USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter sold on Apple’s website.
Yeah, that surprised me as well.Only nine dollars?![]()
Yeah, there's actually a whole DAC in there (sound chip, amp, analog converter). Of course there are higher quality ones if you have high end headphones. I have the lightning version. Wanted to try out the sound of it on my iPad (which already has a headphone output). I was simply curious and wanted to know what a nine dollar DAC sounds like. Not bad.Only nine dollars?![]()
The reviews say otherwise on Apple storeYeah, there's actually a whole DAC in there (sound chip, amp, analog converter). Of course there are higher quality ones if you have high end headphones. Yeah, surprised. I believe the test have shown sound is not bad, and I agree. Not equal to built in Apple DAC from the past, but really not bad with headphones that don't need much amplification. But people seem to have trouble getting the thing work properly, and deal with many defects. Mine Lightning one has worked fine. The reviews say otherwise on Apple store
