Hey all, I keep seeing people mention what week MBA they have, and I'm just curious as to how you find this out. Sorry if it's already posted somewhere, I just got mine today and was curious. Thanks in advance!

Wow, there's an app for that? Amazing.

If you turn your MBA over, and look at the serial number, it looks something like 'W8807...' The first two characters are a product code(W8), the next digit is the year(8) for 2008, and the next two are the week(07). That's the begining of my serial, indicating it was made in week 7. Based on when I bought it, I think week one is the week that contained Jan 1, that is, Dec 30 2007 to Jan 5 2008.

Select 'About This Mac' from the Apple menu.

Click 'More Info..'.

Serial number will be shown.

Fourth and fifth digits are the week of mfg.
Third digit is the year of mfg. (8 == 2008)
