stuttering iTunes Visulaizer

I have been getting this problem since I installed Panther, but my visualiser in iTunes keeps on stuttering consistenetly every second or so... I don't know what it is, not resolution or anything for sure... I tried changing the size and all but still nothing...

whitecap visualizer is the same...

have anyone else encountererd this problem?

I'm using a PB 12-inch

Is it a memory issue? Are you low on RAM?

What are your options set to (when not in full-screen, it's the "Burn" or "Browse" button...)

- Are you capping the frame rate at 30fps?
- Are you or are you not using OpenGL?
- Are you using faster but rougher display?

wow, that is somthing i didn't know about...

I unticked THE OPENGL option and the visualiser works without stuttering now...

it's weird... I thought openGL was supposed to increase performance.
