Subscribe to podcasts on the Apple TV?

Hey-Can you subscribe to podcasts directly on the Apple TV?
I other words get daily updates of podcasts without having to synch with itunes?

you cant subscribe but you can add them ro your favorites list which is kinda like subscribing but not exactly

Well that sucks. So if you have favorites you have to go manuel and download them every time a new episode is ready?

where this really becomes an issue is HD podcasts. I generally, no longer "subscribe" to SD podcasts. Just adding them as a favorite and streaming from the internet works fast and great. The only problem is you have to check each one to see if there is a new episode as opposed to the obligatory blue dot.

I find streaming HD podcasts to the ATV directly from the internet to be an exercise in frustration. It can take forever and almost always will have to pause to rebuffer. Therefore, I continue to subscribe to these podcasts via itunes, download them to my media HD and then stream them to the ATV when I want to watch them.

By the way, if you are not watching the Earth-Touch wildlife HD podcasts on Apple TV...you are really missing something...

Hubblecast is amazing as well...
