Just noticed that both Quicktime and iTunes have options for displaying subtitles. I'd be pretty surprised if the new Apple TV software update doesn't have the same options.

This is great news for me, because now I can potentially play ALL my movies on Apple TV instead of plugging my Macbook into my TV and using VLC when I want to watch a foreign language film with subtitles.

Now, it seems that the subtitles that I already have in my films are not recognised by Quicktime. Those subtitles were converted from srt and imported using MP4Box. Does anyone have any clue how I could go about converting srt subtitles into a format that would be recognised by Quicktime?
