wondering if it's worth buying such a laptop .price is intersting but besides the fact that it doesnt look perfect and will trigger my OCD ,it may possibly worsen overtime ? what do you guys think, and have u had any experiences with screen problems and mac falling on the table like this one did ?

it is mostly visible on the red and green buttons in the last picture where u can see lines going through

the mac fell in march according to seller

price is half of what it would cost brand new

IMO this would be a hard pass.
Little to no chance that it will get better.
Pretty good chance it will get worse.
If you have OCD, definitely pass. Even I can’t unsee it just from your pics. Probably looks more pronounced in person.
“Just dropped onto the table”, from where, the second floor?
They’re trying to dump this, that’s why it’s price is so low.

Is a low price worth triggering your "can't unsee it?", AND you already know before purchase?
That, to me, would be the same as getting a "free" hobby light that flashes at a rate to trigger seizures.
That would be very much the same -- even free would not be worth the cost.
Walk away, let someone else deal with it.

depends on how often I use the internal screen which is the relfexion I was just having rn .

since I'm linked to a monitor most of the time ,I won't care . and when I need to go to univ, even a bad 16" display of this kind may be better than 13.3 (don't u think?)

and I hear what you're saying totally

OK, then it sounds like you are not bothered too much.
And, it would be worth a few minutes of your time to reseat the display cable where it attaches to the logic board. You might get lucky with a possible fix. That would be the first tip that I would try.
(However, the seller may have tried that, too, and then was told how much an actual fix would cost, and now has decided to get rid of it, so here you are...

oh can I do that myself alone ? do u have a link or tuto if you've got time ?

yeah and ofc the seller might have done that .btw if it's up to apple to fix it it's likely around 1500 bucks right ?

iFixit.com has good repair steps for many procedures like this. Here's from the 2021 16-inch for removing the display completely. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/MacBook+Pro+16-Inch+2021+Screen+Replacement/150595
Obviously, you don't need to take everything apart, and you would not need to remove the display, just disconnect and reseat the display video cables. Remove the bottom cover, then go to step 24. You may also need to remove the antenna bar (immediately bofore that step 24), but you may be able to simply disconnect/reseat those display connectors, then reassemble to test. (If you are not too familiar with doing this kind of task, I urge you to disconnect the battery, too, as it is quite easy when removing other connectors to cross-connect to something with battery power available, perhaps resulting in blowing a device on the logic board (which will absolutely be an expensive replacement) - disconnect the battery before other work inside. The steps to do that are early in that same repair steps, just after removing the bottom cover.
(And, yes, it is certainly possible that the seller might have already tried all of this. If you ask, maybe the seller would tell you (?) )

ummm.... You are probably correct with what Apple can charge for some repairs.

according to him tho ,if there are permanent lines ,(as in not flickering ) it's mostl likely a problem with the display itself

Ah, then you have already bought it? I though you were coming here for opinions about the purchase itself.
