Wanted to share in case anyone else like me struggled finding any info on if RX570 series cards would be supported in Mojave.
Recently got my hands on an 8 Core 2.4Ghz 5,1 Mac Pro with an original Radeon 5770 at a great deal.
I had an Asus ROG Strix RX570 4GB leftover from a previous Hackintosh build that I was hopeful I could reuse with the cMP for an easy upgrade. While the official Apple documentation for GPU requirements in Mojave hints that some RX570 cards could be supported, I couldn't find any solid info on the web suggesting a successful build using any RX570.
I already had the card, so there was nothing to lose...and I can report back that it works wonderfully (with the expected caveats: No EFI, no FileVault). I can't vouch for other models/brands of RX570, but for my Asus model, here's the process I used + a few of the other upgrades.

Start With HD 5700 Installed (or your other OEM cMP card)
- My cMP came with a 500GB Crucial MX500 SSD with High Sierra Installed. cMP firmware was on MP51.0085.B00.
- Following this guide, downloaded fresh High Sierra installer and followed prompts to update firmware to MP51.0089.B00. Note 1: It's important to download a fresh macOS 10.13 installer. Using an existing installer USB key or an installer from another model won't initiate the firmware upgrade prompt.
- Formatted the SSD (as HFS+) and reinstalled High Sierra from scratch.
- At this point I installed my ASUS RX570 into my Mac Pro along with the HD770. I used this single mini 6pin to 8pin cable from Amazon to connect the RX570 to the PSU. Note 2: it's not necessary to have both cards installed. High Sierra with .0089 firmware will boot fine with your Metal supported GPU. Remember no EFI (Grey Boot Screen) so don't panic when nothing appears immediately on startup. Note 3: I've had no issues so far powering the RX570 from a single mini 6pin to 8pin adapter, but the common practice seems to be use a dual mini 6pin to 8pin to provide the adequate amount of power to any modern metal GPU. Your mileage may vary.
- Also installed this Startech PCIe 3.0 NVMe sled paired with a 256GB Samsung Evo 970 NVMe flash drive.
- Downloaded macOS Mojave Installer and followed prompts to update firmware to 140.0.0.0.0.
- Installed fresh copy of macOS 10.14.3 onto the Samsung 970 NVMe (as APFS).
