I guess by success I meant how has it helped your work outs and health?
It helps me keep track of my run distances, times, and calories burned, and calculates my average time per mile.
I find it really helpful to know my distances. I am not a good judge of distance, and with Nike+ I know (more or less) exactly how far I have run. Before, I would just run and take a guess, but I really had no clue how far I really ran.
Improvement: In the past 8 weeks, I have gone from running on average a 10 minute mile to an average 8 minute mile. I am looking to continue to improve on this. I really wouldn't have had a way to know this without the Nike+ app.
In terms of my health: I am already in very good shape, but this has helped to decrease my body fat % a little more and has improved my cardio.
At this point, I am only running a 3 mile run (approximately 5K), but I hope to up that to a 5 mile run in the coming weeks. My goal is to run my first 5 mile by the last week in November.
I run with a running club- I find that very helpful.
Niketown stores have Running Clubs. I go to the one that is held every Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Niketown on Wilshire in Beverly Hills. They hold a 3, 5 and 8 mile run. There are usually 60-100 people, most are regulars, but there are at least a dozen new people every week. You can even try out some of their running shoes during the run. The route is set (they give you a map if you need it), and after the run they provide water, fruit and Luna bars. Then, they have a raffle for Nike products (every once in a while, they raffle off a gift certificate for shoes). It is totally free, and a good time. It feels awesome when we run through an intersection and all of the traffic just has to wait until all of the runners are through. And there are some nice looking women there.......
