My AirPort Extreme in my new 24" iMac frequently seems to stop working every 20 minutes or so. The shortages last for about 30 seconds. It makes Bittorrent pretty bad. The only solution I have so far is to connect my DSL modem directly via Ethernet, and have an extra long phone line across the hallway.

Anyone else have this?

Wow... I like how Apple makes the effort to make the iMac's Apple logo light sensitive, so that the suspend light dims in the dark, yet the (relatively) basic function (in 2006) of Wi-Fi is actually an issue.

Still better than my PC, though. But not the computing utopia I expected. :(

I'm no iAnimal, but if you don't use Bluetooth then turn it off because it sometimes interferes with the new Intel machines' AirPort. This has worked in a few cases. :)
