I along with a couple of friends have noticed that our iPhone 12 Pro phones have suddenly encountered poor performance. This has been going on for about a week.

Jokingly, it sounds very familiar -- so I'm betting a new iPhone is on the way soon, as this appears to be a classic scenario. But, until someone posts evidence and a pathway that Apple could effect this, I'm open minded.

That being said, anyone else experiencing this?

I've not been doing anything differently; it's just been normal use and suddenly the battery drains like crazy.

There are several threads on Macrumors regarding the battery degradation in the 12 series iPhones. Many customers have battery capacity under 90%. It’s sad that Apple think that our phones are acting normal, even though the battery capacity don’t match up to the charge cycles.

I should have searched before posting. I'm just so dismayed at it. This happens nearly every year and Apple denies having anything to do with it, which I just find dubious.

my iPhone 11 had great battery life until about 2 weeks ago. Just checked and its at 82% health. I dont know the health measurement from 2 weeks ago, but it lasted all day. Now lasts a little more than half the day. Usage hasn't changed at all. Bummer.
