I have always had very good battery life with my first generation iPhone. I have used it throughout the day and rarely do I see the 20% warning and only once has it been completely drained. The past two days have suddenly been very different, yesterday my battery got down to 10% with very little usage. I thought perhaps I had done something like leave an application running or something that might have caused this. My iPhone received a very lengthy charge over night last night as I slept in today, so I thought for sure my battery would be good to go all day long and still have some to spare. Today I did not really use the iPhone I maybe spent a total of five minutes using different apps throughout the day (checking the calender used the map once) I received one call but did not answer I did not use the phone to talk at all with the exception of listening to a one minute voicemail. Seven hours in my phone gave me the 20% warning, I took the screenshot below and shortly after got the 10% warning. I'm wondering if this is a software issue or if the battery has just reached the end of it's life which would be far shorter than what it should last.
