Do the MBAs with a SSD still have a sudden motion sensor? I was trying to use smack book with my Rev A SSD, but the SMS is either broken or missing, trying to figure out which it is. Thanks.

The whole reason for solid state is no moving parts, so why have a motion sensor? It doesn't have one because you have a SSD.

I understand why it isn't necessary, but I wanted to know from someone else who had one if the SSD MBA isn't supposed to have one.

It does have.

I was wondering why it has, when I checked its profile, it was showing to be "enabled".

Can anyone else with a Rev A SSD confirm that they have a functioning sudden motion sensor?

My Rev A 1.8 SSD works with iAlertU when you move the machine so it definitely seems as if it has a sudden motion sensor...
