Dear Friends,
I still have Mid2012 MBP which is working fine. Today it has panic restart, and I wonder if it was related to hardware or software issue.
Could you express any ideas about looking at the log?

The file uipc_mbuf2 where the error occurs, deals with allocation and deallocation of memory buffers for networking. It looks like there was an issue in the header of a memory block.

I guess this could be a soft memory error. You may want to run a HW self test otherwise continue to use the computer and see if you get more problems.

thanks for the answer, the issue is still there. when I press D while restarting the internet restoring message appears... - should I continue? I am afraid of performing some disruptive action.

update for those experiencing these sudden crushes etc.

the issue originates from insufficient memory (RAM and HDD) - in order to solve the issue one should free up disk space and the issue will not come back until the memory and hdd run out of space (together) again...
