A few days ago, I was working on a Numbers file stored in an iCloud shared folder. Today, out of the blue, I got an error message "Sharing is not possible", also saying I should buy a newer Mac or work from the web.

I have an older iMac (2017) running Ventura (can't upgrade MacOS anymore) so it may be too old indeed. What surprised me was that apparently, Apple changed something from one day to the other.

Anyone having the same issue?

Hmmm, according to this Apple support page, MacOS 14 is required for iCloud sharing:
(sorry, in Dutch, don't know how to get the English version)

Strange thing is that it worked for a long time in MacOS Ventura 13
