woke up this morning and, as always, I connected my iPhone X to my HK Onyx speaker to play some tunes... But the audio was all of a sudden loud as hell! I´ve had to lower the volume on my iPhone to one or two "bars", anything over that is to loud for casual listening. Yesterday (and always before) I´ve had the iPhone volume on about half way up... but now that is super high. what happened? has there been an update overnight or is it just some random bug?

I have a HK Omni 10 - I’d imagine the software for both of them is the same.

Did you know that the volume control (button on the speaker and HK app) is actually independent from volume control on your iPhone? Maybe your speaker reset overnight to full volume. Try lowering the volume on the speaker itself.

It’s mildly annoying because maximum volume is indeed very loud. So check your Hk app or speaker buttons.

Actually, the Onyx is a simple bluetooth speaker so there´s no app for it and the volume on the speaker itself controls the volume on the iphone... so no luck there I´m afraid. Thanks though.
